India’s most expensive film “Bahubali”, the movie has crossed the collection of Rs 165 crore within three days. At Overseas market it collected around 50 crores.
On first day,it was reported that the film had a mega opening with a total of more than 60 crore and reached net profit of Rs 112 crore in two days.
Baahubali –“ The Beginning” has grossed Rs135 crore at the worldwide box office in two days and its net collection stands at Rs 112 crore in the global market. The movie has smashed all old records of Indian films like PK, Krish and Chennai Express.
Trade analyst Trinath said to IANS(Indo-Asian News Service),“On first day world wide release its actual box office gross collection is between Rs.60 crore to Rs.70 crore. This is the biggest ever opening for an Indian film, which is far superior to other Bollywood blockbusters like ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Dhoom 3′,”.
“Baahubali” has surpassed “Happy New Year” (Rs.42 crore), “Dhoom: 3″ (Rs.32 crore), “Singam Returns” (Rs.31.8 crore), “Chennai Express” (Rs.31 crore), “Ek Tha Tiger” (Rs.30.3 crore), “Bang Bang” (Rs.28 crore), “Kick” (Rs.26 crore), “PK” (Rs.25 crore) and “Agneepath” (Rs.22 crore).
‘Baahubali” Released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi parallelly,as it is surprisingly performed extremely well in all the languages.
