Research In Motion(RIM) has introduced in India its fourth OS 7 powered new QWERTY phone – the BlackBerry Curve 9360. which has a 2.44-inch TFT LCD screen and sports a 5 megapixel camera with a flash and 4x digital zoom. Other key features include GPS, Wi-fi, 1000mAhr lithium-ion battery, face detection technology and Bluetooth v2.1.
The BlackBerry Curve 9360 has 512MB of RAM and an 800 MHz processor. The micro-SD/SDHC slot supports up to 32 GB memory cards for additional media storage in addition to the internal memory.
The Smartphone also comes with built-in support for NFC (Near Field Communications), a new technology that includes the ability to pair with NFC-enabled accessories or read SmartPoster tags with a simple tap of the Smartphone.
Also, the enhanced BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is pre-loaded and now extends the real-time BBM experience to a range of other applications, such as Foursquare, Facebook and Twitter.
The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is priced at Rs 19, 990.
