Distinguished religious statesman Rajan Zed has received recognition from Nevada Lieutenant Governor Brian K. Krolicki and United States Senators Harry Reid and Dean Heller.
Certificate of Senatorial Recognition signed by United States Senator Dean Heller with Senate Seal said: “In honor and recognition of your commitment to the Interfaith Relations…Your inspiration, encouragement, and dedication should serve as an example to all.”
“Certificate of Recognition” signed by Krolicki with Nevada Seal said: “In recognition of the honor bestowed upon you by representatives of Northern Nevada clergy”. A “Certificate of Commendation”, signed by United States Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, has also been presented to Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism.
“Certificate of Honorable Service” was also presented to Rajan Zed by University of Nevada-Reno (UNR) Interfaith Students Club through its President Daniel R. Sanchez at a recent interfaith clergy reception accorded to Zed in Nevada.
Rajan Zed has taken up interfaith, religion, environment, Roma (Gypsies) and other causes all over the world. He has read opening prayers in United States Senate, various state senates and houses of representatives, counties and city councils all over USA. He was invited by President of European Parliament in Brussels (Belgium) for a meeting to promote interfaith dialogue. Many cities in USA have named October 25 as “Rajan Zed Day”. Bestowed with “World Interfaith Leader Award”; Zed is Senior Fellow and Religious Advisor to New York headquartered Foundation for Religious Diplomacy, Spiritual Advisor to National Association of Interchurch & Interfaith Families, etc. He prominently appeared in a recently released documentary on religion titled “Unresolvable?”.
