Film industry invents new promotional avenues
Promotion of films has been evolving with new trends creeping into every event related to the industry. Making the most of television shows and FM radio programs are the in thing these days.
Nagarjuna, the producer of the film Rajanna, released the film’s audio through an FM channel instead of the usual mega publicity seeking event. A day before the release of Don 2, CNN-IBN conducted a ‘Don-2 special show’ to promote the film. It was an interactive show with viewers and callers participating.
Puri Jagannath tried to quiz the celebrities who attended the audio release function of Business Man and evoked quite a good response too! This trend is yet to catch on in Tollywood.
